These pants are made from a fabric material that is made by spinning organic cotton from India and Turkey into nep yarn in Japan and then weaving it. This raw cotton is turned into nep yarn by adjusting the machine during the carding process to remove impurities. This requires high skill and is difficult to create a look with varying nep intensity, but it has a natural and rustic surface. Normally, the fabric is mercerized to create a clean surface, but in order to bring out the roughness of organic cotton, Jackman have not mercerized it, but instead degreased and washed it to create a dry, natural texture. Seam pockets and single-welt hip pockets are arranged so that the beautiful appearance around the waist is not disturbed. The hip pockets are buttonless for easy removal and have buttons to prevent them from falling out.
