The De Palma brand was born when Bryan Hessler gave his then girlfriend a hand-sewn bag as a Valentine’s Day gift. Many noticed the careful craftsmanship and beautiful leather handwork, so rare in today’s market. While living in New York, Bryan started to take orders through special request and developed his own line of leather bags and belts that launched in Fall 2006. Since then, De Palma Handbags have been featured in Nylon magazine, SPUR Magazine, New York Magazine, Magazine BLU & Daily Candy, among others. The line is carried by stores across the US & Japan alike.
